I'm happy to report that Mr. Awesome has survived another arduous school year. Between all the novel reading and Internet browsing, not to mention the nearly constant blog updating, this substitute teacher is more than ready for two and a half months of vacation.

Hey Mr. Awesome-
I've spent the last 45 minutes reading your blog on substitute teaching which I found from the FBC blog.
Your posts are hilariously accurate of the day-to-day gripings of the substitute experience. I subbed for about a year and am just now finishing up a teaching certification. Your stories are basically everything I wanted to say to my professors but could not because of some responsibility thing. And you write with a terse confidence that brings out all the fun details of students falling asleep and cafeteria food.
ok enough with the buttering up...
(ahem) so i'm working on this comic book and was wondering if you would consider writing a brief introduction/preface for me. say 300 words or so. as a fellow sub teacher and fbc member for life, i somehow think you would have a unique insight into my work, and expedite the impending fame of both our writings/drawings.
